Reports to: VP of New Markets
TravelPirates is looking for an office manager who will be responsible for overall front office activities including accounts payable, supply orders and scheduling. Also responsible for arranging internal office moves, planning office meetings and acting as administrative assistant to the VP of New Markets.
Duties on deck:
Manages the TravelPirates office areas to ensure a professional environment.
Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities.
Manages all aspect of the accounting functions, specifically accounts payable service.
Manages and orders office supplies as needed.
Acts as Administrative Assistant to the VP of New Markets, handling travel bookings, expenses and calendar appointments.
Assists all departments with administrative duties and participates as needed in special department project
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, to sit for 8 hours a day, occasional standing and walking.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Occasional travel may be required for this position.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
