Duties on deck:
  • Design, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the containerised infrastructure powering our high traffic platform
  • Automation of system orchestration 
  • Closely cooperation with developers and system engineers to discover and fix bottlenecks and solving software delivery issues
Your treasure of experience:
  • Technical university degree or professional education in Computer Science or a similar educational background
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps Engineer (f/m) role
  • Strong professional experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with microservice architechture
  • Solid programming skills in bash / command line scripting and at least one other programming language such as PHP or Go.
  • Knowledge in continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) and agile software development 
  • Experience with CI/CD tools with Jenkins, bitbucket pipelines or similar
  • experience with any cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with automation/ configuration management using Puppet and Ansible or similar
  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is nice to have.
  • Ability to continuously monitor  the server infrastructure and propose the best and robust solutions for the infrastructure monitoring
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Good communication skills in English, German is not required
